Every day is the same routine. Nothing different. This so called "society" that I am unfortunately living in, is corrupted and uncivilized in every aspect. Why are women and men satisfied with their intellect and do not wish to expand it, why is there an uncontrollable usage of soma when emotions are overwhelming, why aren't men and women questioning the limitations on places that they are unable to explore? What is this nonsense? Men and women of this society have the right to be independent from society's rules.
I for one would want to be able to admire the literature that was once brought to the world. Why, all the endless amount of reading a person can do! With literature brought into the society, all would be fixed. More and more people would realize how corrupted society’s rules are. Society would be educated enough to realize the madness the Controller’s have put them in. They would finally come to conclusion that the rules are completely wrong.
Does society realize the difference between love and lust? This “love” in their society is not genuine. They have no clue what this is! Love is when you admire them for their emotions, not for the sake of having people. Oh, god! This is terrible. Having someone is not true love. This is lust, lust, lust, lust! Oh! Lenina dear, I do not wish to see this lusty side of you. This is wrong! You don’t need other men to complete your desires. I’m the one you should love. But, oh…why couldn’t you see how I see it? I love you Lenina, and I wish to marry you and be with you for always. Your aspect of love is not the right way of loving someone. We’ll be star-crossed for always… nothing more, nothing less. You don’t deserve to be under this promiscuous sort called “love.”
Society has been placed with this stupid drug. Stupid soma! Society should let people handle their own emotions. If they’re feeling sad, let them be so! If they’re feeling confused, let them be so! People need to know there’s more than happiness in the world. Soma will not cure the emotions that are in present in the human system. These men and women are capable of dealing with their own emotions independently without the usage of soma. They need to experience more all these emotions that life has given them without having to take soma to hide it. What’s the point? It’s temporarily anyway! God, these people! Soma should be taken out the window! All of it! None should be left. A lesson should be learned, and if that means people should suffer, than men and women--suffer!

Pathos: The admiration to literature which leads to making wise decisions, and the fact that John is truly in love with Lenina-- not in lust with her.
Logos: The difference between "lust" and "love." The fact that love is more of an emotional type of relationship which is based on the heart, and not "lust" which is more towards the mind and sexual appeal.
